Hi, we are Vaidhai & Niharika.

We are from Jaipur.


We'd known of each other since school, but it was at NIFT Gandhinagar that we actually became friends. We weren’t particularly close even then, but somewhere around our fourth year of college, we got to know each other much better. After graduating, we went our separate ways. Vaidhai started working as a stylist, while I worked as a bag designer. We both loved what we were doing.

But, then on a random Tuesday,

We decided to try building something together, maybe just a small business.
That small idea slowly grew bigger.
Eventually, we both quit our jobs to give it our full time and energy, and that’s how MIROI came to be.
Today, MIROI feels like much more than just a small business idea. It’s something we’ve built together, and something we hope to keep growing.

THE IDEA BEHIND MIROI

MIROI will not just be a clothing brand. One day, it will be a lifestyle brand.

Growing up, Vaidhai was surrounded by colourful Ghagra Lugdi’s soft, lightweight drapes with beautiful embroidery that the women in her family wore every day. She was always drawn to them, even before she knew why.

When we visited her Nani’s home in Alwar she introduced me to the dressing traditions of the Meena community. Seeing those garments where they truly belonged reminded us they weren’t just clothes they carried culture, textile, colors and generations of craft.

We wanted to build a brand rooted in our culture while creating silhouettes today’s generation can truly connect with and wear.

So, how do we work together?

Vaidhai’s sense of style, colour and art direction is amazing. She has worked on multiple projects in this space, connects with people naturally and is more of the social one between us. She also handles our Instagram and the way MIROI speaks to the world.

I, on the other hand, am more technical and calculative. Measurements, patterns, software and all the little calculations are more my thing.

But when it comes to designing, it’s always both of us.

We want you to have a wardrobe full of pieces that make you stand out while still feeling like yourself. Pieces you can wear your way, again and again.

Our clothing is made in Jaipur, Rajasthan. We are a very small team, and we make everything in-house with utmost care and attention to detail.

We source our fabrics and materials from Jaipur and Delhi, always looking for quality and the right feel.
